Aaron James Wakal, 25, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009 at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis after a short-term illness.
Born April 3, 1984 in Newport-News, Virginia, he was the son of Benjamin James and Marcia Michelle Wakal. On May 17, 2008 in Miami County, he was married to Coda Marie Fouts, and she survives.
Aaron was a caring and devoted husband; he lived life to its fullest, and had a passionate love for computers. He was an amateur radio operator, enjoyed being a weather spotter, and he was hoping to get his pilot's and motorcycle licenses. He also owned and operated The Digital Connection, Peru.
Survivors include his father, Benjamin, Peru; mother, Marcia Miller and husband Kevin, Perrysburg; one sister, Michelle Richardson and husband Joshua, Peru; two brothers, Isaiah Landon and Kevin Roscoe Miller, Perrysburg; paternal grandparents, William and Joan Wakal, Knox; his first child to be born January 1, 2010; and his dog Buddie.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Skinner Worship Chapel with Pastor Tom Robbins officiating. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday in Crown Hill Cemetery, Knox.
Friends may call from 4-8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 15, 2009 at the church.
