Anselmine "Mimi" P. Moon

Anselmine Pierrette “Mimi” Moon, 77, formerly of Twelve Mile, Indiana, passed away on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Woodbridge Health Campus, Logansport.

Born February 24, 1948, in Longueville, France, she was the daughter of Louis and Norma Angela (Da Sois) Martinato. On June 5, 1965, in France, she was married to Jerry Lee Moon. In 1968, Jerry and Mimi moved to the states making their home in Twelve Mile until his passing January 25, 2023.

Mimi worked at many places in the Twelve Mile Community over the years and retired from Wilson Foods in Logansport. She enjoyed being with friends and family and always had a great fondness for the fellowship in the Corinth Brethren Church kitchen making noodles. She loved spending time in the kitchen baking and trying new recipes. She was an avid mushroom hunter and looked forward to Spring hunts each year. She enjoyed quilting, working in the yard, and mowing her yard as often as possible.

Survivors include a daughter, Patricia (Ed) McGuire, Macy; son, Pascal (Beth) Moon, Twelve Mile; grandchildren, Blake (Raine) Moon, Noblesville; Hayden Tomlinson (Jes Bachman), Grass Creek; Sydney Moon, Twelve Mile; and Riley McGuire, Macy; two great-grandchildren, Oliver Russo and August Moon, both of Noblesville, Colt Moore, Grass Creek; and at least one more on the way; one sister, Nicole (Jerry) Boeshore, Fayetteville, North Carolina; two sisters-in-law, sister, Carmen Sue Carter, Russiaville; and LaVerne Hartzler Moon, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law, Steve Carter and Onis and Everett Moon; and one sister-in-law, Judy Moon.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. (Noon) on Saturday, March 29, 2025, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with her grandchildren officiating. Burial will follow in Corinth Cemetery, Twelve Mile.

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday, at the funeral home.
