Austin Hunter

Austin Hunter, 24, Peru, Indiana, passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, at his residence.

Born February 12, 2000, in Kokomo, Indiana, he was the son of John F. Davy and the late Jennifer R. Hunter.  

Austin was a graduate of North Miami High School. He liked to play guitar and video games, and enjoyed working at his job.  

Survivors include his father, John Davy (and step-mom) Teresa Kelley, Peru; two sisters, Jessica Dawn Martinez (Johnny), Columbus, Indiana; and Emily Williams, Michigan; two brothers, Tucker Williams, Michigan; and Johnathon Birdwell, Arizona; nephew and niece, Johnny & Cambery Martinez; cousins, including Robert E. Hunter II, and Amanda Johnson, along with many more; He is also survived by aunts and uncles, including Cindy Bennet. 

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joann and Ned Davy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, October 28, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Dale Fouch officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport. 

Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, at the funeral home.
