Betty Jean Kinney, 79, Macy, Indiana, passed away on Friday, February 13, 2015, at Blair Ridge Health Campus, Peru.
She was born September 14, 1935, in Indianapolis, Indiana. On May 17, 1980, in Indianapolis, Indiana, she was married to John H. Kinney, and he survives.
Betty attended Howe High School in Indianapolis. She was an excellent cook, baking many confections for her family, which she loved more than anything. She also enjoyed traveling and was a lover of all animals, she especially enjoyed her many feline companions over the years.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by five children, Ginger Fitzpatrick, Martinsville; Michael Newcomb, Las Vegas, Nevada; Steven Newcomb and wife Carmen, Noblesville; Rebecca Eisenhut and husband Jeff, Indianapolis; Elizabeth Bush, Peru; eight grandchildren, Michelle and Heather Newcomb, Nevada; Kenzie Kampf-Vaness, Indianapolis; Kassidy Bush, Peru; Samantha and Marisa Newcomb, Noblesville; and Monika and Jackie Eisenhut, Indianapolis; one great-grandchild, Ascillia Vaness; three step-children, John H. Kinney, North Dakota; Michelle Farmer, Florida; and Michael Kinney, Iowa; and several step-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
Memorial services will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana.
