Beulah Mae Conner, 90, formerly of Macy, Indiana, passed away at 6:15 p.m. on Sunday, March 11, 2018, at Life Care Center of Rochester, Indiana.
Born May 29, 1927, in Fulton County, Indiana, she was the the daughter of Russell and Nancy Bowen Shoemaker. On April 10, 1948, in Peru, Indiana, she was married to Ronald D. Conner, and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2002.
Beulah was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church, and she worked for many years at Hart, Schaffner, and Marx in Rochester.
Survivors include her daughter, Shirley Greenwald, Portsmouth, Ohio; two granddaughters, Michelle Greenwald, Covington, Kentucky, and Heather (Steve) Stegelin, Charleston, South Carolia.; three great-grandchildren, Cory Stegelin, Caleb Stegelin, and Michael Greenwald; and two step great-grandchildren, Justin and Courtney Evans; two brothers, Robert (Alice) Shoemaker, Decatur; and Jerry (Diana) Shoemaker, Akron; one sister, Kathleen Racer, Rochester; and one sister-in-law, Mary Butt, Macy.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Tammy Greenwald, and one brother, Jack Shoemaker.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. Indiana with Pastor Wayne Balmer officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery, Macy, Indiana.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service on Saturday at the funeral home.
