Billie Frances Jones Overton

Billie Frances Jones Overton, who was born on June 17, 1929 in Washington, Indiana the daughter of Arnold J. Jones and Gertrude Jones, passed away on June 10, 2011 at 7:15 a.m. at Visiting Nurse Hospice in Fort Wayne, Indiana.
She is survived by her husband: Roland Keith Overton, Peru, IN, whom she married on October 21, 1950 in Washington, Indiana. She also leaves behind her children: Victoria L. Overton of Laguna Niguel, CA, Deborah L. Barnes of Sarasota, FL, William "Bill" K. Overton of Warsaw, IN, and Matthew "Matt" A. Overton and wife Rebecca Spencer Overton of Peru, IN; her grandchildren: Jacob W. Overton, Ashley N. Malott and Andrew R. Overton; her siblings, Eleanor Jones Sturgeon, Washington, IN; Ina Jones Helphenstine, Washington, IN; Marilyn Jones Hurt, Chicago, IL; and Deanna Jones Powers, Vincennes, IN.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her siblings: Delbert Jones, Orville Jones, Acel Jones, Mayme Jones Chapman, and Olive Jones Clements.
The Reverend Billie Frances Jones Overton was a Minister and Evangelist for the International Deliverance Church of Dallas, Texas. She lived in Northern Miami County for more than 50 years. In her earlier years she taught Sunday School and ministered to those in need. She continued to offer prayer work throughout her life.
Friends are invited to a Celebration of Life Service at First Assembly of God, 365 Monroe Ave, Peru, Indiana at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 with Pastor John Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Deedsville, I.O.O.F. Cemetery, near Deedsville, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. on Monday, June 13, 2011 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver and a half hour prior to the service on Tuesday at the church.
