Bob J. Dennis, 72, Rochester, Indiana, passed away at 2:23 a.m. on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Majestic Care, Ft. Wayne, Indiana.

Born February 24, 1950, in Paducah, Kentucky, he was the son of Stanley and Murlene (Haney) Dennis.

He was a 1969 graduate of Caston High School and was a a retired union crane operator.  He was an avid IU Basketball fan.  He loved watching his grandkids’ sporting events, fishing, and anything with horses—trail riding, camping, and horse shows.

Survivors include his children, Tom (Kelly) Maynard, Denver; and Greg (Rachel) Dennis, Bourbon; six grandchildren, Clayton (Barbie) Maynard, Plymouth; Nathan Maynard, Denver; Madison Maynard, Denver; Candice Mosley, Denver; Mason Dennis, Bourbon, and Marshall Dennis, Bourbon; one great- grandchild, Mallory Maynard, Plymouth; brothers, Carl (Mary) Dennis, Peru; Bill (Julie) Dennis, Peru; Jim (Della) Dennis, Denver; sisters, Katy Johnson, Kokomo; Midge Dennis, Kokomo, and Judy (Jeff) Hyde, Bunker Hill; and sister-in-law, Karen Dennis, Kingsville, OH.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, William Dennis and Darrel “Doc” Dennis.

Visitation will be from 3-7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 7, 2022, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.  There will be no service.
