Bobby Gene Howard

Bobby Gene Howard, 74, Twelve Mile, Indiana, passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indinapolis. 

Born May 10, 1950, in Southfork, Kentucky, he was the son of Barnett Howard and Nellie (Howard) Howard. 

 He worked for many years as a farmhand at various dairies in the area. He enjoyed fishing and hunting. More than anything, his life revolved around the time spent with his grandchildren and family.

Survivors include his wife, Norma Howard; daughters, Suzie (Otis) Jones, Jackson, Ky; Lotressa McVicker, Kewanna; Nora (Dan) Ehlinger, Twelve Mile; Julie (James) Miller, Twelve Mile; sons, Bobby Howard, Ocala, FL; Rocky Howard, Jackson, KY; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Stella Day, Fort Wayne.

 He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Nellie Ann Jones; six brothers; and six sisters.  

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at Akron Cemetery.
