Bonnie Marie Stout, Macy, passed away at 12:21 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.
Born on May 19, 1942, in Peru, Indiana, she was the daughter of Elmer Ray Correll, Jr., and the former Rachel Jane Hetzner. On December 30, 1962, in Denver, Indiana, she was married to James O. Stout.
Bonnie was a graduate of Deedsville High School and retired from the United States Post Office. She was an active member of the Macy Christian Church. Over the years, she loved mushroom hunting, fishing, playing cards, and sending cards to family and friends. More than anything, she loved spending time with her family-especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Jim Stout, Macy; daughter, Bonita (David) McPherson, Macy; Jim (Lisa) Stout, Lebanon; Lonnie (Cheryl) Stout, Peru; nine grandchildren, Natasha, Caleb, Joshua, Lauren, Lindsey, Mallory, Faith, Isaac, and Faylena; two great-grandchildren, Winslow and Jamison; sisters, Kay (Ernie) Spence, Lafayette; Maxine (Ronnie) Manning, Macy; Sylvia (Ronald) Burdine, Peru; and Sue (Rick) Mays, Lafayette; and two brothers, Bruce (Ruth) Corell; Denver; and Rex (Valery) Correll, Rochester
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Larry Dean Correll.
Funeral services will be held at Noon Monday, May 20, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Brad Hisey officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, officiated by her nephew Pastor David Stout.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Monday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Macy Christian Church.
