Bonnie Lou Tyler

Bonnie Lou Tyler, 76, Logansport, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis. 

Born June 26, 1948, in Miami County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Frederick D. “Fritz” and Clara Elizabeth (Chambers) Hudson.

She worked for many years in housekeeping at Miller’s Merry Manor, Logansport. She enjoyed crocheting, going to dirt-track races, watching TV (especially Gunsmoke), and always giving people a hard time. She loved her family and found no greater joy than being with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. 

Survivors include her two children, Jerry A. (Jessica) Barton, Williamsport; Angela D. (James) Nice, Logansport; six grandchildren, Jessie (Daniel) Leckrone, Lafayette; Kyle (Taylor) Barton, Rossville; Jennifer Barton, Waynestown; Andrew Barton, Williamsport; Trista (Daron) Weaver, Logansport; Haley Nice, Lucerne; seven great-grandchildren, Gabriel, Magdelina, Brynleigh, Mackenzie, Noah, Rigley, and Alexander; two sisters, Pat O’Conner, Greenwood; and Mary May, Logansport; and one brother, Bob (Sherrel) Hudson, Lucerne; 

 She was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Dave Hudson.

 Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, August 19, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana.

Visitation will be from Noon-2:00 p.m. on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
