Brenda Kay Golliher Brown, 56, Mentone, and formerly of Windfall, passed away at 3:30 p.m. on Monday, May 11, 2009 at the home of her son, surrounded by her loving family.
Born July 7, 1952 in New Castle, Indiana she was the daughter of Merrill "Jake" E. and Louise Pierce Golliher.
She was an avid Nascar fan and supporter for car # 18, Bobby Labonte.
Survivors include two sons, Gregg Flenner and wife Bridgette, Mentone; and Scott Brown and wife Misti, Peru; her mother, Louise Mofield, Peru; four grandchildren, Derek and Samuel Flenner, Mentone; Austin Brown, Kokomo; and Savana Brown, Osceola; three step grandchildren, Shelby, Tyler, and Trevor Orpurt, Peru; one step great-grandchild, Izabelle Orpurt, Peru; three brothers, Ed Golliher and wife Beth, Macy; Jim Golliher, and Ronnie Golliher, both of Denver; three sisters, Kathy Boles, Kokomo; Pam Mygrant and husband Rodney, Peru; and Judy Homme and husband John, Kokomo.
She was preceded in death by her father, one brother, David L. Golliher, stepfather, William H. Mofield, Sr., and one brother-in-law, Gary Boles.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2009 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Pastor Bob Jarboe officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.
Friends are invited to call from 4-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
