Carol Newman

Carol A. (nee See) Newman, age 86 of South Holland, IL and formerly of Hobart passed away February 25, 2010. She was a longtime member of the First United Methodist Church of Hobart and had served as its Financial Secretary. She was preceded in death by her husband Medford Newman, son Mark Newman, and brothers Walter E. See and Roy Q. See. She is survived by sons Lee (Sharon) Newman of Portland, IN and Roger (Linda) Newman of Munster IN; daughters Nancy Owens of Oregon, WI, Diane (Dean) Donovan of Liberty Township, OH and Katrina (Mike) Rogan of Valparaiso IN; 9 grandchildren; brothers Earl (Wilma) See of Chili and Larry (Janet) See and sister Peggy Cline of Mexico. Visitation will be Sunday, February 28, 2010 from 2-5 p.m. at Burns Funeral Home, 701 E. 7th St, Hobart, IN and from 12:00 - 1:30 p.m. on Monday at McClain Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 1, 2010 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Pastor Charles Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery.
