Carolyn Maxine See, 86, Kokomo, passed away at 9:05 a.m., Thursday, April 22, 2010 at Century Villa Health Care Center in Greentown, Indiana.
Born February 19, 1924 in Minneapolis, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Lyman K. and Hattie Hessman Bernard. On August 22, 1948 at the home of Rev. Clyde Black in Logansport, Indiana she was married to Walter Eugene See, and he preceded her in death on October 27, 2006.
She was a member of Faith Presbyterian Church in Kokomo and had served as Worthy Matron for the Peru Chapter Order of the Easter Star. Carolyn enjoyed traveling the world with her husband and had visited every continent except Antarctica. For several years, Carolyn was a licensed private pilot and enjoyed flying small planes.
Survivors include two brothers, Neil Bernard and wife Mary Lou, Carmel; and Jerry Bernard and wife Norma, Carmel; three brothers-in-law, Earl See and wife Wilma, Chili; Larry See and wife Janet, Mexico; and Jim Stephenson, Denver; two sisters-in-law, Peggy Kline, Mexico, and Judy E. See, Mexico; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Muriel D. Stephenson.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 24, 2010 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Pastor Charles Cole officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.
