Carolyn Sue Williams

Carolyn Sue Williams, 63, Peru passed away at 3:25 a.m. on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester surrounded by her loving family.

Born October 15, 1948 in Perry County, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Josh and Elsie Spurlock Akemon. On January 25, 1964 in Virginia, she was married to Clyde Williams, and he preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Family Fellowship Church of God in Peru. She had worked at Miller's Merry Manor in Peru for several years. Her greatest love was spending time with her family, she enjoyed going to garage sales, fishing, camping, vacationing, and doing anything out-of-doors.

She is survived by Thomas Prentis Kelsor, Jr., her faithful companion of over thirty-seven years; three children, Clyde David Williams, Jr., Peru; Penny Sue Archer and Terrence, Peru; and Anna Gail Williams, Peru; two sisters, Lois Jean Moses and husband Thomas, Sr., Castalia, Ohio; Shirley Lee Coahran and husband William, Macy; two brothers, Bob Akemon, and companion Ann Wood Peru; and Josh Akemon, Jr. and wife Babara, Lafayette; and three grandchildren, Trevon Scott Archer, D'Andre Scott Williams, and Tiana Justine Archer, all of Peru.

She was preceded in death by one son, Billy Charles Williams on May 8, 1980.

Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Monday, May 21, 2012 at Family Fellowship Church of God, 60 Harrison Avenue, Peru with Pastor Randy Shinolt officiating. Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.

Visitation will be from 2-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 20, 2012 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
