Chester Elisha Miller, 78, Peru, passed away at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at his residence with his loving wife and daughter by his side.
Born November 26, 1937, in Miami County, Indiana, he was the son of John Quinter and Alice Louise Boatman Miller. On August 3, 1958, at the Ebenezer United Methodist Church, he was married to Sandra Deeds, and she survives.
Chester graduated from Jefferson Township High School in 1957, and he was a lifelong famer in Miami County. He enjoyed riding his bike, water skiing, and boating. He was very dedicated to his work and family and was a fifty-year Gold Member of the Mexico Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include his wife Sandra Miller, Peru; daughter, Mary Kathryn Huddleston and husband Todd; two grandchildren, Tiffany Sarah Manuel and husband Geary and Levi Miller Huddleston, all of Peru; one great-granddaughter, Zoey Manuel; three sisters, Shirley Ann Childers and husband Ronnie, Bunker Hill; Susan Annette Hart and husband Charlie, Indianapolis; and Karen Sue Brown and husband Homer, Kokomo.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two daughters, DiAnna Elizabeth Miller and Julie Rachael Miller.
Private family services were held Friday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. Burial with special words given by a close friend, Dale Zell, followed in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.
