David Lee Correll

Logansport, Indiana

David Lee Correll, 87, Logansport, passed away on Saturday afternoon, November 20, 2021, at Chase Center, Logansport.

Born August 13, 1934, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Elmer Ray, Sr., and Dorothy Marie (York) Correll.  On December 25, 1954, he was married to the former Myrtle Virginia Burton, and she survives.

David was retired from Logansport Memorial Hospital and after attending seminary served as pastor of Skinner Christian Church for over seventeen years.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by two sisters, Arlice McKinney & Coetta Stratton; two brothers, Tom Barnes, and Kevin Balsbaugh; and numerous in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by ten brothers, brothers, Elmer Jr., Max, Dean, Keith, Nathan, Stanley, Lawrence, Aaron, George, and Matthew.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Lew McKinney officiating.  Private burial will be in Miami Baptist Cemetery, Cass County.

Visitation will be from 1-3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Skinner Chapel.  McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements.  Condolences may be sent online at www.mcclainfh.com
