David Lee See

David Lee See, 71, Denver, passed away on Monday afternoon, December 20, 2010 at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born August 30, 1939 in Peru, Indiana he was the son of Robert C. and Caroline B. Moon See. He was a United States Marine Veteran. He had retired from Ed Burns Trucking after driving a semi for many years for different companies. He enjoyed reading, watching movies, and enjoyed visiting with his friends at local gathering sites. Survivors include his five children, Dixie Haggard and husband Keith, St. Louis, Missouri; Tim See and wife Tonya, Nyona Lake; Richard See and wife Paula, Denver; Jane Vigar and husband Terry, Roann; and David See, Denver; two brothers, Russell W. "Bill" See and wife Phyllis, Andover, Ill; Ronnie See and wife Marla, Peru; one sister, Jackie Fultz, Logansport; fifteen grandchildren, and several great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert See and Caroline Whybrew, and one sister, Roberta J. Smith. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, December 24, 2010 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver. Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami County Military Rites Team. Condolences may be left online at www.mcclainfh.com.
