Dennis Lee Greer

Dennis Lee Greer, 66, Denver, passed away at 2:10 a.m. on Monday, October 18, 2021, at his residence, surrounded by his family.

Born December 3, 1954, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Vaughn Edward and Florence Evelyn Murphy Greer.

He was a 1973 graduate of North Miami High School and was retired from Chrysler Corporation in Kokomo.  He loved trap shooting, working on tractors, watching football, watching Western movies, and Harley Davidson motorcycles.

Survivors include four children, Jeff Hoover, Macy; Heather (Andy) Rentschler, Denver; Chelsea (Shad) Harth, Brownsburg; and Britney (Joe) Grant, Mexico; eight grandchildren, Baleigh Hendrix, Brenlyn (Daniel) Freeman, Allie Dickerhoff, Savannah Rentschler, Blake Rentschler, Marshall Grant, Hudson Harth, and Samuel Grant; two brothers, Steve (Lorene) Greer, Denver; Larry (Susan) Greer, Lafayette; and one sister, Rita (Russ) Seela, Missouri.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, David J. “Huck” Greer.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. on Friday, October 22, 2021, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.  Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico, Indiana.

Visitation will be 4-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home.
