Diana Kay Greer

Diana Kay Greer, 77, formerly of Peru, Indiana, passed away at 10:18 a.m. on Monday, November 4, 2024, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne.

Born August 10, 1947, in Peru, Indiana, she was the daughter of William Robert Chaplin and Jeanette Susan “Butch” Hunter Chaplin Robinson. On June 12, 1976, she was married to Richard Lee Greer, and he preceded her in death on July 22, 1989.

She was a graduate of North Miami High School and a member of the Peru Eagles. She retired from United Technologies (Lear Corporation) in Peru. She loved listening to country music and enjoyed cooking new recipes and completing word searches. 

Survivors include her son, Chester L. Greer, Twelve Mile; three grandchildren, Aubrey Jo West, Peru; Briahnna E. Greer, Denver; and Gunnar L. Greer, Wabash; and two sisters, Barbara Eby, Kokomo; and Sandra Flowers, California; and step-daughter, Deborah Dorsam, Peru.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son, Zane Travis Greer; twin brother, John Edward Chaplin; and step-daughter, Denise Kay Richardson.

A time of visitation will be from Noon until 1:00 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.

Burial will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.
