Donald Eugene Molencupp

Donald Eugene Molencupp, age 77, of Goshen, Indiana, formerly of Ligonier, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025 at Goshen Hospital. He was born on February 16, 1948, the son of Paul Joseph and Mary A. (Stover) Molencupp. On July 29, 1967, he married Theresa Taylor in Peru, Indiana. 

Don graduated from North Miami High School in Denver, Indiana in 1966 and retired as a heavy equipment operator. Over the years he worked for Primco Bridge, Irving Gravel and RR Donnelley. Don also owned and operated Molencupp Crane Service and built several homes locally. 

Most importantly, Don was a Jehovah’s Witness and was baptized on May 1, 1971. He volunteered and helped build many Kingdom Halls across the Tri-State area. His greatest joy was helping build the new Jehovah’s Witness World Headquarters in Warwick, New York and also helping disaster relief in Florida. Don was a joy to be around and will be deeply missed. 

He is survived by his wife of over 57 years, Theresa Molencupp of Goshen, Indiana; son, Russell Dean (Janet) Molencupp of Logansport, Indiana; a brother, Joseph (Janice) Molencupp of Logansport, Indiana; nieces and nephews, John Molencupp, Beverly Van Kuren, Sarah Reyes, Matthew Molencupp, Mandy Warner, and Rose (Daniel) Opp. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother Wesley Molencupp. 

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 & 6-8 pm on Friday, March 7, 2025 at Yeager Funeral Home, 1589 Lincolnway South; Ligonier, Indiana 46767. There will also be a gathering from 1-2 pm prior to the 2pm funeral on Saturday, March 8, 2024 at McClain Funeral Home, 3500 IN-16, Denver, IN 46926. Elder Matthew Line will officiate.
