Donnabelle See, 94, Deedsville, passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Friday, June 24, 2016, at her residence.

Born May 1, 1922, in Royal Center, Indiana, she was the daughter of Walter and Edith Caley Holcomb.  On January 10, 1942, in Sharon, Indiana, she was married to Harry See, Jr., and he preceded her in death on January 12, 2005.

She attended Royal Center Schools and was a member of the Deedsville United Methodist Church.  She loved writing and sending letters, sewing, baking, reading, and genealogy.  She loved her family and playing cards, and was famous for her homemade rolls.

She is survived by one daughter, Kathy (Jerry) Carlson, Deedsville; one daughter-in-law, Pat See; grandchildren, Kelly (Rod) Roth, Macy; Kandy (Mike) Barker, Macy; and Sarah (Dustin) Sisk, Akron; and Scott See, Deedsville; great-grandchildren, Josh (Candace) Roth, Fishers; Zac Roth, Macy; Aaron Barker, Las Vegas; Austin Barker, Macy; Ashley (Steve) Reitan, Indianapolis; Randy See, Peru; and Patience See, Logansport; great-great granddaughter, Everly Reitan, Indianapolis; and nephews,  Richard (Karyn) Gundrum, Mark (Brenda) Gundrum, Ronnie (Janet) Holcomb, Tim (Carolyn) Holcomb; and Kenny (Vicki) Holcomb, Jerry Pherson, Chris Pherson, and Jack Pherson; and the family’s beloved dog, Sadie.  She is also survived by special friends, Sue Smith, Rochester and Kris Reardon, Greenfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Edith Holcomb; one son, Larry Joe See; one granddaughter, Lori Carlson; two brothers, Raymond and Lowell Holcomb; three sisters, Evelyn Pherson, Wanda Gundrum, and Maxine Holcomb; cousin, Dorothy Denny; niece Marcia Kay Gundrum, and special friend, Jane Kindig.

Funeral services will be held at noon on Tuesday, June 28, 2016, at Deedsville United Methodist Church, with Pastor Bill Babb and Chaplain Jason See officiating.  Burial will follow in Deedsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the church.
