Ellenora M. Brown

Ellenora M. Brown, 92, of Denver, passed away at 12:15 p.m. on Friday, January 9, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor, Peru.

She was born in Converse, Indiana on September 5, 1916 the daughter of Pliney George Dingman and Gladys Benditt Dingman. She was married to James W. Brown, and he passed away in 1980.

She was a member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Peru and the Women of the Moose.

In her early years, she was employed by Senger Department Store and later at Lee's Bootery.

Survivors include a grandson, Christian James Howard and his wife Tammy, Inglis, Florida, and three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Noah, and Tate Howard; a son-in-law, Raymond Howard, Denver; a sister-in-law, Phyllis Coblentz, Peru, and nephews, Michael, William, and Steve Coblentz and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two daughters, Sandra K. Howard and Melanie Lee Brown, four brothers, one sister, and her foster mother, Christina Kemper.

There will be no services or visitation. Burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver. McClain Funeral Home, Denver, is handling arrangements.
