Everett "Al" Alvin Ensley

Everett Alvin “Al” Ensley, 59, Fulton, Indiana, passed away at 9:17 a.m. on Sunday morning, December 3, 2023, at his residence.

Born on November 30, 1964, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Marvin and Edna M. (Bishop) Ensley.  On June 17, 1983, in Sumner County, Tennessee, he was married to Ronna Lisa Beck.

Al was a 1983 graduate of Oak Hill High School.  He had worked for about fifteen years for both Rochester Metals and Fulton Marshall County Co-op.  He loved fishing, playing cards, shooting, working on anything with his hands, spending time in the garden, and being with his family.

Survivors include his wife, Ronna Ensley, Fulton; son, Shane J. (Sherry) Ensley, Fulton; three grandchildren, Stephanie Ensley, Carah Ensley, and Shane Ensley, Jr., all of Fulton; mother, Edna Ensley, Peru; brother, Ed (Martha) Ensley, Upland; and sister, Jane Oaks (Rodger Mitchell), Peru; sisters-in-law, Theresa (Gary) Hunt, Perrysburg; Ellie M. Cook, Peru; and Julie I. Rogers, Peru; brother-in-law, Michael (Maria) Townsend, Marion; several nieces and nephews, his brother from another mother, Riley (Carrie) Lipps, Royal Center; and his canine companion, Buffy (The Buff Monster).

He was preceded in death by his father; an infant sister, Corinne Ensley; and sister-in-law, Angie Wheetley; brother-in-law, Terry Wheetley; mother-in-law, Deloris Couch; father-in-law, Ronald Beck; and his best friend on the planet, his Chihuahua, Steuart Little.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with his brother, Ed Ensley officiating.  Burial will follow in Fulton Cemetery, Fulton, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, at the funeral home.
