Glen Alan Piotter, 60, rural Macy passed away at 8:53 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2011 at St. Joseph Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born on September 12, 1950 in Peru, Indiana he was the son of Arnold H. and Bessie A. Ross Piotter. On July 26, 1986 in Saint Mary-of-the Woods Village, he was married to Helen Mary Evrard, and she survives.
Glen was a lifelong resident and farmer in the Macy community. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Peru and the Macy Masonic Lodge. He also was a member of the Logansport Shrine Club and the Scottish Rite, Ft. Wayne. He enjoyed going on fishing trips in Canada with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Helen, of Macy; mother, Bessie Thomason, Macy; his daughter, Bridget Cecile Buck and husband Brian along with their daughter Macy Hazel, all of Red Wing, Minnesota; one son Arnold Charles Piotter, Macy; one brother Jerry Piotter and his wife Carol, Macy; one sister Sharon Dillman and her husband Robert, Macy and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father; his stepfather, Billy Ray Thomason; and two nephews, Jerald "Junior" Piotter and Robert "Bobby" Dillman.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, April 21, 2011 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Peru with Pastor Kenneth Greenwald officiating. Burial will follow in Deedsville I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Deedsville.
Visitation will be from 2-8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 20, 2011 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
