Harriett E. Bellar, 67, Denver, passed away at 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at her residence.

Born October 15, 1945 in Peru, Indiana she was the daughter of Charles and Della Bevington Townsend. She was married to James D. "Gander" Bellar, and he survives.

She was a member of the Bloomfield Brethren Church, Peru.

Survivors include three daughters, Ronda Renee Baldwin, Denver; Marie Kay Dixon, Merrillville, Tennessee; and Becky Sue Bellar, Denver; two stepchildren, James Allen Bellar and his wife Shannon, Peru; and Tina Kay Bellar, Logansport; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren; three sisters, Phyllis Turner and husband Gene, Carmel; Doris Manriquez, Peru; Linda Fuller and husband Bill, Louisiana; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17, 2013 at McClain Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver.

Visitation will be from 2-6:00 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.
