James Lowell Barrell, 75, Wabash, passed away at 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 22, 2014, at his residence.
Born September 19, 1939 in Hammond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Myron Joseph and Fern Dagley Barrell. On November 4, 1982, in Lansing, Illinois, he was married to Sandra Kay Hiatt, and she survives.
James was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Lansing, Illinois, and he was truck driver, retiring from Dawn Food Products.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by three daughters, Jennifer Ruzbasan, Hobart and her children, Brittany Gulbrandsen and Anthony Ruzbasan; and Kim Booth and Wendy Minard; one brother, Donald Barrell, Griffith, and one sister, Evelyn Junkens, Hammond.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Elsie Kerney, two brothers, Myron, Jr. and Paul Barrell, and one step-son, Dwayne Ford.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, November 24, 2014, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
