James R. Miller, 71, Macy, Indiana, passed away on Thursday, April 11, 2024, at his residence.
Born on May 3, 1952, in LaGrange, IN he was the son of Francis and Elna (Ringler) Miller of White Pigeon,MI . He was married to Tami Lynn Miller, June 26th 1976 in Middlebury Indiana who survives.
Survivors include his children(to whom he was a great father to), Brandon (Mandi) Rummler of Elkhart, Mandy Miller, Macy; Carla (Jeremy) Skiles, Rochester; and James (Julie) Miller, Twelve Mile; as well as 13 grandchildren ,11 great-grandchildren and his beloved best friend Jake (his dog)
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Barry Miller, sister Penelope Scott ,father in-law Elmer Bright and mother in-law Jeannie Bright.
Jim was a self-employed truck driver he was well known and very respected within the toter community . Jim took pride in his Semi's if you didn't hear him coming you for sure saw him. He enjoyed camping, riding motorcycles, fishing, spending time with his family, but most of all he enjoyed being a grandpa and watching sports with his grandkids. Jim loved collecting patriotic items such as Bald Eagles, and American flag memorabilia.
A celebration of life is being planned by the family for May,18th at 7424 S 325 E Macy,IN 46951 4:00pm.
