James Damon Tinney, 31, Deedsville passed away Tuesday afternoon, July 13, 2010 at Woodlawn Hospital, Rochester, Indiana
Born July 15, 1978 in Peru, Indiana he was the son of Jeff P. and Linda K. Rogers Tinney. On August 7, 1999 in Deedsville, Indiana he was married Amy Jo Leedy, and she survives.
James was employed at Bryan Steam in Peru attended Son-Rise Worship Center, Galveston.
He was a United States Air-Force Veteran.
Survivors besides his wife and parents include his four children, Thayne Elijah Tinney, Taylor Madison Tinney, Tristan Japeth "T.J." Tinney, and Addison Layne Tinney, all at home; one sister, Mindy Brown and husband Allen, Cullman, Alabama; two brothers-in-law, Mark E. Leedy and Daryle K. Leedy, both of Deedsville; one sister-in-law, Jamie Jo Carter and husband Brian; Mexico; three nephews, Jeremy P., Hayden A., and Mason A. Brown, all of Culman, Alabama; and grandmother, Audrey Tinney, Peru.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 17, 2010 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Chaplain Mike Moorecraft officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru with military graveside rites conducted by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.
Visitation will be from 2-8:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Tinney Family memorial fund to help support James' children.
