Janie Fay Clark, 76, Peru, passed away at 9:59 a.m. on Monday, April 24, 2023, at her residence.
Born September 27, 1946, in Blytheville, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Martin Franklin and Marjorie Catherine (Carner) Rose. On January 21, 2001, in Peru, Indiana, she was married to Christopher Ammon Clark, and he survives.
Janie was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She had always worked in healthcare service. She enjoyed it thoroughly and she was always the first to step in to see what she could do to help.
Survivors include her husband, Chris Clark; five sons, Frank (Connie) Cade; Robert (Joanna) Cade; Michael (Cathy) Cade; Vince (Maggie) Houtari; and Drake (Shelby) Clark; nineteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; brother, Eddie (Janet) Rose; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins, as well as many extended family members in the Clark/Shambarger family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Martin Rose; sister, Mavis Rasmussen; and one grandson, Clint Cade.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Monday, May 1, 2023, at Five Corners Cemetery, near Macy. The funeral procession will leave from McClain Funeral Home at 11:45 a.m.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 on Monday, at the funeral home.
