Jean Miller, 80, Fairland, Indiana and formerly of Mexico, passed away at 1:36 a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2011 at her residence.
Born May 9, 1931 in Cass County, Indiana she was the daughter of the late Charles Lesley and Mary Nettie Yankee Lutz. On November 19, 1949 in Mexico, she was married to Harold Elmer Miller, and he survives.
She was a 1949 graduate of Jefferson Township High School. She was a director and member of both the Indiana and American Dairy Goat Associations. She was active in the Indiana State Fair helping in the Dairy Goat Department serving as Project Superintendent.
Survivors include four children, Linda Mills and husband Raymond, Rossville; Steven Miller and wife Linda, Logansport; Maryann Vincent, Florida; and David Miller and wife Marie, Fairland; ten grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren.
One sister Mary Balsbaugh preceded her in death.
Private services were observed and she was laid to rest in Mount Carmel Cemetery, Twelve Mile.
