Joanna F. Wethington, 25, Peru, passed away at 1:40 p.m. on Monday, June 16, 2014 at her residence.
Born March 20, 1989 in Cincinnati, Ohio, she was the daughter of John and Carmen Riley Wethington.
She is survived by her mother, Carmen Wethington, Peru, two sisters, Melinda Wethington, Peru; and Megan Medley and her husband Michael, Anderson, Indiana; maternal grandmother, Thursa Jessie Fay Smithers Kidd and her husband Walter, Cincinnati, Ohio; and maternal grandfather, Vernon Riley and wife Velda, Harrison, Ohio; several aunts and uncles; as well as one niece and one nephew, with whom she enjoyed playing with very much.
Joanna enjoyed writing, poetry, and spending time with family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents, Del Rose Wethington and William Wethington.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 21, 2014 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. Burial will be at a later date.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
