Keith Edward Hoover, 55, Twelve Mile passed away at 5:15 a.m. on Monday, April 11, 2011 at his residence.

Born on January 11, 1956 in Peru, Indiana he was the son of the late Kenneth Russell and Betty Lou Hines Hoover. On December 20, 1975 at the world famous Chapel of the Bells in Las Vegas, Nevada he was married to Linda Jean Robbins, and she survives.

Keith was a United States Marine Veteran having served for seven years.

He was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church and for nearly thirty years he served on the Twelve Mile Volunteer Fire Department. On January 28, 2011 he retired as Postmaster of the Macy Post Office. He began working for the Post Office in Logansport where he carried mail for over twenty years. He enjoyed fishing and going on many vacations to Topsail Beach, North Carolina where he searched for many sharks' teeth.

Surviving with his wife are two daughters, Krystyna Nicole Martin and her husband Todd, along with their children Jaxsen William Martin and Saige Caroline Martin, all of Claypool; and Kassandra Michelle Hoover and her daughter Piper Jeanaynn Roudebush, both of Twelve Mile; three sisters, Janice Wiedenhoeft and her husband Daniel, Kokomo; Barbara Hickman and her husband Mark, Greentown; and Joette Miller and her husband Gary, Peru; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 15, 2011 at Bethlehem United Methodist Church, near Twelve Mile with Pastor Teri White officiating. Burial will follow in Skinner Cemetery, near Twelve Mile with Military Graveside Rites by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.

Visitation will be from 2-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 14, 2011 at McClain Funeral Home.
