Kim A. Crippen, 63, Denver, Indiana, passed away at 4:02 p.m. on Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at Lutheran Hospital, Ft. Wayne.
Born December 7, 1954, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Dale D. and Betty Jean Erdle Crippen. On May 2, 1976, in Peru, Indiana, he was married to Patricia Darlene Love, and she survives.
He worked for Dalton Corporation in Warsaw, Indiana, and formerly CR Metals and W. C. Redmon Company. He loved mowing the yard, camping, all sporting events, and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Darlene Crippen, Denver; three children, Jennings Crippen and wife Jessica, Denver; April Gosnell and husband Zachary, Denver; and Christena Hampton and husband Brad, Roann; five grandchildren, Ross and Bryce Gosnell, Layla and Braylon Hampton, and Waylynn Crippen, mother, Betty Jean Crippen, Indianapolis; four siblings, Craig Crippen and wife Norma, Kokomo; Kirk Crippen and wife Lisa, Virginia; Kevin Crippen and wife Tina, Tennessee; and Kristi Hale and husband Khris, Carmel; mother-in-law, Martha Love, Peru; brother-in-law, Troy Love and wife Staci, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 14, 2018, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana. Burial will follow in Paw Paw Cemetery, rural Miami County.
Visitation will be from 2-6:00 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to North Miami Athletic Department.
