Leslie Denise Cole

1958 - 2014

Leslie Denise Cole, 56, Macy, passed away at 8:37 p.m. Thursday, April 10, 2014, at her residence.

She was born on Jan. 3, 1958, in Atlanta, Ga., the daughter of Richard and Betty Jo (Bruce) Jones. On May 24, 2002, in Marion, she married Delman Cole and he survives.

Mrs. Cole had worked as a home health care provider with Winslow Nursing Home in Elizabeth City, N.C. In her spare time, she loved being outdoors, fishing, gardening, baking and traveling.

Survivors include her husband, Delman Cole, Macy; daughter, Abra, and husband Boone Masuth, Bristol; step-daughters, Shannon and husband Joe Roberson, Blair, Neb., Amanda Broomfield, Blair, Neb., and Ivy Cole, Marion; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild, sister, Terry Ellis, Columbus, Ga.; and brother, Rick Jones, Texas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted at 5 p.m. Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver.

Friends may visit from 3 to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Burial will be at a later date at Thrailkill Cemetery, Swayzee.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Miami-Wabash Home Hospice.
