Linda Sue Malott, 69, Denver, Indiana, passed away on Friday morning, August 20, 2021, at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Ft. Wayne.
Born April 29, 1952, in Peru, Indiana, she was the daughter of Noah E. Wolf and former Betty A. Landis.
She attended North Miami Schools and had worked for many years at Gallahan’s Truck Stop where she had been a waitress and worked in the convenience store. She loved to sit at her home out in the country and watch the world pass by from the comfort of her front porch. She enjoyed going to the casino, taking care of her yard, cooking and baking, and finding any excuse to run around without her cellphone. More than anything, she was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved all of her kids.
Survivors include two children, Tony (Angie) Malott, Denver; and Troy Malott (Brandi Williams), Akron; six grandchildren, John (Susie) Malott, Florida; Amanda Marshall (Justin Whalen) , Kokomo; Madison Malott, Macy; Tori Malott, Macy; Hope Malott, Wabash; and Drew Malott, Wabash; six great-grandchildren, Maverick Malott, Lily Marshall, Kennedy Marshall, Landen Whalen, Devon Agee, Marcus Agee; two sisters, Ellen (Jerry) King, Peru; and Lana (Bryan) Jaberg, Peru; half-sister, Mary Canaday, Indianapolis; former daughter-in-law, Carol Malott; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by one son, Todd Malott; one granddaughter, Baley Malott; and one sister, Carol Joseph.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, August 24 ,2021, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana. Burial will follow in Gilead Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Monday, at the funeral home.
