Lola Faye (Ritchie) Mercer

Lola Faye Ritchie Mercer, 55, Peru, passed away at 5:52 p.m. on Friday, February 22, 2019, at Community Howard Hospital, Kokomo.

Born July 7, 1963, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Hershel and Beulah Mae Smith Ritchie.

Survivors include three sons, Jeremy W. (Christina) Landrum, Peru; Jason H. A. (Maria) Landrum, Georgia; Jamie L. Long, Ohio; five grandchildren, Emma and Randy Landrum, Peru; Nick and Brianna Landrum, Georgia; and Jaxson Long, Peru; six brothers, Hershel (Jane) Ritchie, Jr., Ohio; Jimmy (Phyllis) Ritchie, Macy; David (Shawn) Ritchie, Georgia; Bill (Denece) Ritchie, Ohio; Lloyd (Kathy) Ritchie, Ohio; and Douglas Ritchie, Georgia; one sister, Sheila Wright, Kokomo.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Hiram “Buddy” and Richard Ritchie.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at Bunker Hill Freewill Baptist Church, Bunker Hill, Indiana.

Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the church.

Burial will be in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.  McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, has been entrusted with arrangements.
