LouAnna Lee Poynter

­LouAnna Lee (Worthington) Poynter, 95, Kokomo, passed away at 4:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 10, 2025, at The Waters of Tipton.

Born March 31, 1930, in North Liberty, Indiana, she was the daughter of Cecil Rhodes and Helen Mae (Kline) Worthington. On July 25, 1951, she was married to Grant E. Poynter, and he passed away on May 8, 2013.

She was a 1949 graduate of North Liberty High School. She was a lifetime member of the North Liberty United Methodist Church. She loved being a homemaker and took great pride in keeping an immaculate house. She enjoyed going to Casinos and loved her many trips to Las Vegas with her husband, and she was even able to drag her daughter along once. The animals in her neighborhood always knew where they could find a food; she loved taking care of them!

Survivors include her daughter, Lynne Ann (Steve) Kurtz, Kokomo.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Greenlawn Cemetery, Greentown, Indiana, with Pastor Jeff Newton officiating.
