Marcia Lynn Fisher

DENVER a�" Marcia Lynn "Mert" Fisher, 67, Akron, died at 3:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, 2010, at the home of her son near Silver Lake.
Born Aug. 28, 1943, in Peru, she was the daughter of Joseph W. and Ruth L. Melson McCain.
Mert was a member of Akron United Methodist Church and was a 1961 graduate of Deedsville High School.
She retired from Hart Schaffner and Marx in 2002.
She enjoyed her grandchildren's sporting events, painting, sewing and peacocks.
Surviving are two children, Craig S. Fisher and wife, Tammy, Silver Lake, and Melissa D. Scott and husband, Donald, Claypool; seven grandchildren, Mallory Hedington, Tyler Fisher, Bryce Fisher, Treston Fisher, Daryl Wright, Kayla Scott and Tanner Scott; and one sister, Sharon K. McGuirk and husband, Mike.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at McClain Funeral Home in Denver.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Peru.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
