Margaret Ruth Allen

Margaret Ruth Allen, 84, Peru passed away at 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2009 at Hickory Creek in Peru.
Born April 19, 1925 in Mitchell, Indiana, she was the daughter of Joe and Blanche Tyree. She married Homer D. Allen on July 27, 1946, in Lawrenceville, Ill., and he preceded her in death on Feb. 20, 2001.
She was a member of the Mexico Church of the Brethren.
Survivors include one son, Marvin Kent Allen, with wife Janis, Mexico; two grandchildren, Jammie Jones and her husband Chad, Logansport, and Rick Allen and his wife Cathy, Delphi; three great-grandchildren, Brittany Allen, Zoe Jones, and Cole Jones.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Denise Ann Allen.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 28, 2009 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Rev. Donald Ritchey officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.
