Margaret E. Jaberg, 96, Peru, passed away at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 2, 2009 at Miller's Merry Manor, Peru.
She was born June 3, 1912 in Cass County to John Henry and May Emaline (Myers) Anderson. On Oct. 21, 1931 in Plymouth, she was married to George W. Jaberg, and he preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 1985.
Survivors include two sons, John W. Jaberg, Peru, and Donald G. Jaberg and wife Judy, Bunker Hill; one daughter, Marilyn R. Boswell and husband Robert, Denver; ten grandchildren, Susan Baker, Chesapeake, Va., Brenda Zell, Walton, John Bryan Jaberg, Peru, Laura Lee Golder, Peru, Robert Jaberg, Peru, Michael Jaberg, Peru, Matthew Jaberg, Encinitas, Calif., William Boswell, Sheridan, David Boswell, Aurora, Colo., and Richard Boswell, Greentown; 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Frances Margaret McVety; one grandson, Steven P. Jaberg; one great-granddaughter, Alexis Jaberg; one daughter-in-law, Beverly "Jane" Jaberg; and four sisters, Helen Stroud, Mildred Taggart, and Ruth and Frances Anderson.
According to Margaret's wishes, funeral services will be private.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Peru.
McClain Funeral Home, Denver, is handling arrangements.
