Marian B. Flory Skinner, 83, Twelve Mile, passed away at 12:50 p.m. on Sunday, April 28, 2019, at Logansport Memorial Hospital, Logansport, Indiana.

Born September 18, 1935, in Logansport, Indiana, she was the daughter of Marcellus M. and Zoe I. Miller Flory.  On September 18, 1955, at the Miami Baptist Church, she was married to Dale L. Skinner, and he survives.

Marian was a member of the former Twelve Mile United Methodist Church.  She graduated from Logansport High School in 1953, and for over thirty years, she worked in kindergarten at Caston School Corporation.  In her youth, she was a ten year 4-H member, showing cattle and was once elected 4-H Queen.  She enjoyed playing Euchre and gathering with The Red Shirts, the retired teachers from Caston.  With her husband, Dale, she rode over 500,000 miles on their motorcycle, visiting each of the lower forty-eight states, and traveling to Alaska twice.

Survivors include her husband, Dale Skinner, Twelve Mile; three sons, Mike (Karen) Skinner, Denver, IA; Dave (Carol) Skinner, Logansport; and Tom (Pat) Skinner, Twelve Mile; fourteen grandchildren; and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Sam Flory, and one sister, Sylvia Mhoon.

A Celebration of Life gathering will be from Noon-3:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 5, 2019, at the Twelve Mile Community Building.  Pastor David Noel will officiate a Time of Remembrance at 3:00 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Twelve Mile Community Building.
