Mark A. Thompson, 57, of Peru, passed away at his residence. Born in Peru, Indiana, on April 6, 1963, he was the son of the late Robert and Bertha (Prather) Thompson. Mark was a 1981 graduate of Peru High School.

Mark worked for many years at Mr. Weenie, where he worked as a manger for fifteen years, Tyson in Logansport and Smithfield in Peru. Mark enjoyed spending time with his friends, golfing and was an avid Cubs, Pacers, Colts and Indiana Hoosiers fan.

Mark is survived by his two sons, Mark (Ellie) Thompson, Kingsport, TN. and Zach (Courtney) Thompson, Biddeford, Maine; granddaughter, Maple Thompson; special cousin, Bob (Linda) McKinley; and cousins, Sierra (Jan) Martin, Danny McKinley, Vicki Brown, Sandy Retz and Larry Coleman.

Mark was preceded in death by a brother, Tommy.

A drive-thru visitation will be held on Friday, April 24, 2020 from 10 a.m. -12 p.m. at McClain Funeral Home, 3500 West State Road 16, Denver, IN. Please bring your name printed on a piece of paper to be added to the guestbook and enter the parking lot through the west drive.  A graveside services will follow at Rankin Cemetery, Miami County, with Rev. J. Robert Clark officiating.
