Nancy Lee (Richardson) Ege, 74, Peru, passed away at 4:27 p.m. on Friday, March 8, 2024, at her residence surrounded by her beloved family.
Born December 6, 1949, in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of Wayne Willis and Margaret (Stenhouse) Richardson. On January 29, 1968, she married the love of her life and best friend, Robert “Bob” Eugene Ege, and he preceded her in death on Friday, September 30, 2016.
She loved playing Pogo, reading, and going on vacation, especially cruises. She traveled extensively and enjoyed exploring new places around the Americas. She loved her family and was always happy to spend any time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Nancy was the loving mother of Jennifer (Chris) Walden, and Allison (R.J.) Berry; grandmother of Dakota, Dayton and Makinsey Erickson, and Brayden and Jordan Roe; and great-grandmother of Oliver and Serenity Roe.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Allison Berry; grandsons, Dakota Erickson and Jordan Roe; and siblings, Ronald Richardson, Carol McConnell, and Ken Richardson.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, with Pastor Rod Correll officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Cass County.
Visitation will begin at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, prior to the service.
