Nancy Ann (Swain) Truex, 71, Denver, Indiana, passed away at 7:50 a.m. on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at The Waters of Peru, Indiana.  

Born on October 6, 1952, in Marion, Indiana, she was the daughter of Earnest C. and M. Charline (Hardman) Swain. On September 1, 1972, in LaFontaine, Indiana, she was married to Noble Charles Truex, and he survives.  

She was a 1971 graduate of Southwood High School. For many years she worked at Wabash Healthcare. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Logansport.

Survivors include her husband, Noble Truex, Denver; four children, Carla (Bryan) McJilton, Ohio; Ryan (Linda) Truex, Mexico; Scott (Kristie) Truex, Denver; and Jennifer (Mark) Butler, Denver; grandchildren, Ashley Vincent, Jacob Miller, Kaitlyn Spencer, Zachery Truex, Gavin Mappin, Megan Truex, Gavin Hanson, Amelia Mappin, Jacob McJilton, Rachel Collins; great-grandchildren, Nolan, Ryker, Jesper, Theodore, Saige, Quinn, and Everett; sister, Karen (Bob) Renner, Clearwater; and step-sisters, Penny Korporal, Warren; and Sherry (Richard) Anderson, Houston, TX.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Freda Cole Swain. 

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana. Private burial will be in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver, Indiana.
