Nancy May Walker, 72, Peru, passed away at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at her residence.
Born May 4, 1947, in Peru, Indiana, she was the daughter of Albert and Mary Tyler Cox.
For many years she worked as a cook at Track’s End Restaurant, retiring in 2009.
Survivors include two children, William W. Walker, Jr. and Misty (Gerald) Booth, all of Peru; four granddaughters, Savannah Rojo, Peru; Leighann (Craig) Wallace, Fulton; Destiny Booth, Kokomo; and Emily Booth, Kokomo; two great-grandchildren, Ashleigh Gunter and Jazmin Wallace, Fulton; brothers, Charles (Jackie) Cox, Peru; Joe Cox, Peru; and Dale (Luann) Cox, Plymouth; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Joyce “PeeWee” (Ben) Lewis, Mary Catherine Cox, Beverly Sue (Ernie) Hizer, Robert Cox.
Visitation will be from 3-5:00 p.m. on Saturday at McClain Funeral Home, Denver. A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Smoot officiating. Burial will be in Reyburn Cemetery, Peru.
