Naomi L. Knauff

Naomi L. Knauff, 93, formerly of Perrysburg, passed away at 6:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at Miller's Merry Manor, Peru.

Born March 16, 1918 in Perrysburg, she was the daughter of William R. and Jessica E. Lockwood Teel. She was married to Lowell M. Knauff on November 12, 1938 in Sharon, Indiana, and he preceded her in death on August 21, 1969.

She was a member of the former Perrysburg Baptist Church.

She is survived by three children, Bill Knauff and wife Marty, Rochester; Linda Hoover and husband Tom, Denver and Colleen Wilson and husband Denny, Perrysburg; nine grandchildren, Cassie Miller and husband Matt, Rochester; Steve Hoover and wife Jennifer, Denver; Mike Hoover and wife Sally, Edwardsburg, Michigan; Brad Hoover and wife Megan, Chili; Jeff Hoover and wife Toni, Peru; and Bill Hoover and wife Kendra, Hoover; Melissa Sailors and husband D.J., Denver; Melanie Sailors and husband Tony, Peru; and Zach Wilson, Macy; twenty-one great grandchildren, Caleb, Makenzie, Makayla, and Chloe Miller; Tyler, Mitchell, Jackson, Grant, Ben, Andrea, Morgan, Mallory, Reese, and Hartley Hoover; Madelyn, Drew, Grace, A.J., Cole, and Noelle Sailors; and Blake Wilson; and one sister-in-law, Alice Teel, Macy.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Glen Teel and Joe Teel, and two sisters, Vilma Glendenning and Mary Wideman.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2011 at McClain Funeral Home with Pastors Gene Personette and Steve Bate officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery, Mexico.

Visitation will be from 4-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 5, 2011 at McClain Funeral Home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Peyton Manning Children's Hospital.
