Nellie Glen Thorrington, 77, Denver went to be with the Lord, Friday, February 12, 2010 at Howard Regional Health Systems, Kokomo.
Born January 8, 1933 in Orange County, Indiana she was the daughter of Louie and Ethel Morgan Hopper.
On October 5, 1957 in Mexico, Indiana she was married to Russell G. "Junior" Thorrington, and he survives.
She was a member of the Denver Baptist Church. She loved playing Bingo at the Miami Indian Nation in Peru and playing dominoes.
Survivors include four children, Bruce Edward Thorrington and wife Izinia, Denver; Tammy Sue Aguirre and companion Toris Andrews, Del Ray Beach, Florida; Phillip Thorrington and wife Rhonda, Peru; Phyllis Hart and husband Larry, Hoover; grandchildren, Ashkum, Jackie, Carol, Linda, Crystal, Jessica, Bobby, P.J. and wife Tami, Christina, Ben and wife Andrea, Wesley, Heather and Matthew; and several great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson, Russell Scott Thorrington and one great-granddaughter, Hannah Reemer, and three siblings, Nancy Tuell, Eddie Hopper and Johnny Hudsler.
Fuenral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 17, 2010 at McClain Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Bate officiating. Burial will follow in Westlawn Cemetery, Denver.
Friends may call from 4-8:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
