Nola Jean (Champ) Boston

February 3, 1927 — September 18, 2017

Nola Jean Boston, 90, formerly of rural Twelve Mile, passed away at 6:17 p.m. on Monday, September 18, 2017, at Northwoods Village, Kokomo.

Born February 3, 1927, in Cass County, Indiana, she was the daughter of Carl Ellis and Myrtle Hollenback Champ.  On June 22, 1956, at the Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Cass County, she was married to Everett Ray Boston, and he preceded her in death on April 2, 2012.

She was a lifelong member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church, Twelve Mile.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Jo Wright, Kokomo; and two grandsons, Ashtyn Harts and Jerald Harts, Kokomo.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Lindsey Harts, and one brother, Private Mac H. Champ, who died in service during the Battle of the Bulge.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, September 22, 2017, at McClain Funeral Home, Denver, Indiana, with Pastor Curtis Matteson officiating.  Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery, rural Twelve Mile.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.
