Paul Dee Hunt, 72, Macy, passed away on Wednesday morning, March 28, 2018, at his residence.
Born October 11, 1945, in Peru, Indiana, he was the son of Marvin R. and Helen J. Musselman Hunt. On April 17, 1982, at the Mexico Church of the Brethren, he was married to the former Dorothy Marie Gibbs, and she survives.
Paul was a graduate of North Miami High School and had retired from Conrail. He was a United States Air Force Veteran having served in Vietnam.
Survivors include his wife Dorothy Hunt, Macy; one daughter, Michelle E. (Jason) Hewitt, Peru; son, Andrew M. (Lisa) Hunt, Logansport; stepchildren, Jean M. Fuller (companion Steve Wright), Olean, New York; and Ron W. (Shelley) Johnson, Rochester; grandchildren, Jakob Hewitt (companion Kaili Aikman), Kaylee Hewitt, Kathleen Hunt, Ethan Hunt, Andrew Fuller, and Brad Fuller; one sister, Mary Donna (Ink) Graham, Winamac; one brother, James L. Hunt, Michigan City; and his beloved orange cat, Garfield.
Visitation with the family will be from 4-7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 2, 2018, at McClain Funeral Home. A time to share memories will begin at 7:00 p.m.
Burial with military honors will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at Marion National Cemetery with honors presented by the Miami County Military Rites Unit.
