Phillip Lynd Delawder, 80, of Macy, passed away at 2:25 p.m. on Saturday, August 13, 2011 at Life Care Center of Rochester.
Born September 3, 1930 in Ironton, Ohio he was the son of Roy and Bessie E. Palmer Delawder. On October 2, 1949 in Frankfort, Indiana he was married to Iris Elise Lambert, and she survives.
He was retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo where he had worked for thirty years. He was a member of Lincoln Masonic Lodge, Macy.
Survivors include four daughters, Marsha Lynn Adams and husband Richard of Hideaway, Texas; Nancy Kaye Eppert and husband John, Independence, Missouri; Karen Sue Wilhelm and husband Mark, Perrysburg, Indiana; and Judy Ann Delawder, Stockdale, Indiana; six grandchildren, three step-grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; five step-great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at McClain Funeral Home, Denver with Pastor David Welsh officiating. Burial will follow in Plainview Cemetery, Macy.
Visitation will be from 3-7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening, August 16, 2011 at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday. Masonic services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening.
